Die Aufwertung der Beziehungen kann eine Chance darstellen. Man hat einen Fokus gesetzt. Die Schweiz hat immer auf Dialog in solchen Situationen gesetzt.
Es ist möglich, dass wir gewisse Kanäle nutzen können, um deeskalierend zu wirken. Das wäre ein möglicher Weg. Aber es ist zu früh zu sagen, ob das dann die Antwort ist.
Die Schweizer Aussenpolitik definiert sich unter anderem über den Dialog. Bringt das in der jetzigen Situation überhaupt etwas? Wir haben grundsätzlich keine Aussenpolitik, die auf laute Töne setzt.
Die Qualität der Schweiz im globalen Spiel ist, dass wir hinter den Kulissen versuchen, Kontakte zu schmieden und deeskalierend zu wirken.
